He was the assistant to the Vice President of McInerney, Miller Brothers in Detroit, retiring in 1993 after 43 years. He started there as a delivery man.
The joy of his life was his family. He enjoyed playing cards and listening to Irish music, especially the bagpipes, and was a member of the Clawson Eagles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (nee Schemanski) and his dear children, Diana (Robert) Raine and Patti (Frank) McClain. Loving grandpa of Rebecca (Paul) Oles, Melissa (Brian) Kolf, Ericca Werner, Amanda Raine and Jessica Al-Chanaa. Proud grandfather of Christopher and Hayley Oles and and Andrew and Ella Kolf. He is also survived by his sister Theresa (Daniel) Bora and sister-in-law, Muriel (Patrick) Diviney. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary and siblings, Mary Davis, Patrick & Frank Diviney.
