Lillian D. Castillo, 101, of Atascadero, formerly of San Luis Obispo, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994 at an Atascadero care facility.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Reis Chapel in San Luis Obispo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in San Luis Obispo, officiated by the Rev. Jim Nisbet. Burial will follow at the Old Mission Catholic Cemetery in San Luis Obispo.
Mrs. Castillo was born Feb. 6, 1893, in Riverside, where she has raised and educated along eight siblings. She was employed by Western Union in San Francisco for 43 years. She moved to San Luis Obispo in 1971 and relocated only recently to Atascadero. She enjoyed being around people.
She is survived by a niece, Olive Vlahovich of Arroyo Grande; a nephew, Charles Trujillo of Riverside; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews and many friends.
Arrangements are by Reis Chapel in San Luis Obispo.
