Mr. Flint was born June 7, 1898, at Dodgeville, Wisconsin from where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Flint moved to near Everly and it was in the community that LeRoy Flint grew to manhood. He attended the rural school and Westport High School in Dickinson County. He later attended the Nettleton Business College of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Following completion of his business course at Nettleton Business College he worked for five years as assistant in the Langdon Savings Bank at Langdon, Iowa and worked in a similar capacity for one and one-half years Gillett Grove Savings Bank in Gillett Grove, Iowa.
For the past ten years he has served deputy county treasurer of Clay County.
Mr. Flint was united in marriage with Verna E Rider, July 2, 1926 at Spencer, with one son been born to this union. The deceased was united with Church of Christ in the fall of 1925 and was a faithful member until the time of his death. For the past several years he had served as a member of the board of trustees of this church.
Mr Flint's ability for handicraft and his love for flowers added much attractiveness and conveniences of his happy home. His deep devotion to his family and home was outstanding.
