BROWNSVILLE - Granville G. "Don" Ashley Jr., 52, of Brownsville died April 4, 2005, at his home
He was formerly employed by Eaton's Corp. and Nylon Craft Corp. of Bowling Green and was a member of Poplar Spring United Baptist Church and Washington-Meredith Masonic Lodge No. 355 F & AM, where he served as Past Master. He was a son of the late Granville Ashley and Jean Madison Ashley, who survives, and the husband of the late Brenda Sue Blanton Ashley.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel, with burial in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home by Washington-Meredith Lodge No. 355 F & AM.
Other survivors include his wife, Sandy Sanders Ashley; a daughter, Lei Ann Parsons of Smiths Grove; a stepson, Jeremy Pulley of Horse Cave; a granddaughter, Kaylee Don Parsons; a mother-in-law, Verna Sanders of Chalybeat; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts and friends.
