Frances B. Zeiger, 71, 2508 Berkey Ave., Goshen, died at 3:48 a.m. Monday, in the emergency room at Goshen General Hospital where she was transported after becoming ill at home.
She was born Sept. 8,1929 in Aliquippa, PA to John and Clara Goysich. On Sept. 21, 1957 she married Waldemar Zeiger in Ambridge, PA.
Zeiger retired from Everett's Supermarket in 1955 after 29 years of service as a cashier. She also had worked at the A and P store in Goshen. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter; Tammy L Zeiger, Goshen; a son, Tom W. Zeiger, Livonia Mich.; two grandsons; and a brother, Joe Goysich, Alliquippa.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John, in 1984 and an infant daughter, Julieanne.
