Jeanette Buell Casey, Mother, Mamaw, sister and friend, left us to be with her Lord on Monday July 16, 2012. She died peacefully at Martha Jefferson Hospital with family by her side.
She was born on September 21, 1931 in Pineville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Herbert and Caroline Greene Buell. She was also proceeded in death by her husband Rev. Virgil W. Casey Sr., a son Daniel, and daughter Carlene, a brother Otis Buell and a sister Tevis Taylor.
Prior to her retirement in 2008, Jeanette worked as an Aide to Special Needs Students in Albemarle County. She received so much joy and satisfaction from the students and families she worked with, that she remained employed until declining health forced her to retire at the age of 76. Most important to Jeanette was her faith in God, her church and her family. She was a loving, compassionate and generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Virgil W. Casey Jr. "Wink" and his wife Kathy of Covesville, VA, Jennie Blankenship and her husband Donald, Samuel Casey, and Darlene "Casey" Beeghly and her husband Tim, all of Charlottesville, VA; nine grandchildren, Julie Bunch and her husband John, Mike Casey, Amy Casey and her fiancé Garrett Barfield, Angela White and her husband Kyle, Alison Casey, Tony Casey, Elizabeth Casey and Garrett and Summer Beeghly; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Flo Knoth, Jean Kelly, and Darlene Bartley and three brothers Herbert Buell Jr., Donnie Buell and Ronnie Buell and their spouses and families.

A funeral service was conducted at the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Woods officiating. A meal followed for family and friends at the Covesville Baptist Church.
