John P. Baldock.
The above named died at his late residence on West Jefferson street Sunday morning at 6:20 o'clock, aged 84 years, 2 months and 14 days. The funeral services were held at the late residence Monday morning at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. Sanborn. Interment in the Bailey cemetery. Deceased was born March 19, 1812, and was married to Patsy Rign [sic] in January, 1838. Thirteen children were born to them, six boys and seven girls. His wife died in 1867 and in 1871 he was married to Amanda Maxson, who died in 1879. Of late years his mind has been somewhat impared. His death was caused by old age.
