Mr. Endress retired in 1958. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Telephone Pioneers of America, North Star Lodge 241, F&AM, Occidental Chapter 235, and Warren Commandery 63. A former member of Chief Cornplanter Council, Boy Scouts of America, he was honored with the Silver Beaver Award in 1937.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel E. (Gidner) Endress; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Neva) Ladner and Mrs. Edmund J. (Kathryn) Farynowski, Warren; Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Kauffman, Alden, N.Y.; two sons, DeLyle Robert Endress, Pittsburgh; Donald M. (Mike) Endress, Sacramento, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, ; a brother, Dr. Warren G. Endress, Allentown, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Fred Ross, State College.
Funeral services will be in the Lutz-VerMilyea Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Donald H. Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
