In January 1906, he married Viola Victoria Mitchem, a daughter of Alonza Murrell Mitchem & Lucy Verona Arnold Mitchem of Morgan Co., GA. David and Viola were the parents of three children:
1. Nellie Lou LeSueur 9/21/1906 (m. Malcolm Compton of TN);
2. Johnny LeSueur 7/17/1911 (m. Edith Stone (Etowah, TN);
3. Mary Agnes LeSueur 11/28/1917 (m. Johnny Edd Bernard)
David was survived by the above children and their spouses and the following grandchildren: Teddy Lee Compton; Barbara LeSueur (m. Clarence Burrell, TN) who have 3 ch., lv Jacksonville, FL; John David Bernard, Linda Lowe Bernard,Malcolm Bernard, Victoria Bernard, and Jerry Bernard.
