REEDSPORT - A graveside service will be held April 3 for Jack Emery Rohde of Reedsport, who died March 29 at age 54. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

Rohde was born March 29, 1949, in Newberg to Alfred and Lila Speer Rohde. He married Patricia Potter on July 26, 1969. Rohde worked as a truck driver at B&B Thinning and Logging Co. He enjoyed hunting, his family and his work.

Survivors include his wife; his father of Reedsport; two sons, Garrett of Reedsport and Richard of Gardiner; two daughters, Lori Berg of Rice Valley, and Sara Jo Bruce of Lovington, N.M.; two brothers, Dan of Ruch, Ore., and David of Harrisburg; a stepbrother, Bob Wilkes; a sister, Viola Custor of Olympia; and 12 grandchildren.

Thursday's service will be at 11 a.m. at the Scottsburg Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Three Rivers Rebekahs Lodge, 485 Greenwood Ave., Reedsport. Dunes Memorial Chapel in Reedsport is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kenneth Murphey Scholarship fund in care of the Odd Fellows/Rebekahs Lodge in Reedsport.
