Matt M. "Dutch" Sparks, 93, of Lexington, OK passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Home in Lexington, OK. Funeral services were at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Charlotte Farrell officiating. Burial was in the Rising Star Cemetery in Rising Star, Texas with Higginbotham Funeral Home of Rising Star in charge. Matt was born on June 21, 1914 in Featherston, OK to Matt B. and Charlotte Black-Sparks. He married Eunice Mayfield on July 25, 1938 in Carlsbad, NM. Matt is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Eunice Sparks; his parents; 7 siblings, brothers, Hutton; Shirley; Haskel Sparks; sister, Maxine Farrell; twin brother and sister, Rud and Ruth Sparks; brother, Woody Sparks.
