Vivian Harmon Rice, 81, 609 Rice DR, Columbia, KY, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005, at 9:10 p.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital after an illness.
The funeral service will be Sunday, December 18, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Terry White and Bro. Raymond Martin officiating. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Ulysses and Mary Lee Smith Harmon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy F. Rice, on June 2, 1981, and by a daughter, Rebecca Osborne, in May 1998. She is survived by the following: Two daughters and sons-in-law: Dr. Mary Lois and Dr. Edward Hayman, Prospect, KY; and Lee Ann and Steve Willis, Columbia, KY
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister, Edwin Harmon and Mildred Rogers.
Mrs. Rice was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and a homemaker.

Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2005.
