OSCAR WHITE GRABEEL
October 25, 1894 ~ July 24, 1968

Oscar White Grabeel, 73, Wright City, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, in the Oklahoma State hospital at Taft.

Born October 5, 1894, in Detroit, Tex., he had been a resident of Wright City for five years, moving from California. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion, a retired farmer and a member of the Freewill Baptist church.

He is survived by three sons, Vernon of Portland, Ore., Everett of Irving, Tex., and Kelsey Ray of Garland, Tex., and two daughters, Mrs. James Carper of Wright City and Mrs. James Halpain of Pittsburg, Tex.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, July 26, in the Felker Freewill Baptist Church.

Arrangements and burial in the Felker Cemetery were under direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
