Services for Paul Parker have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Hayhurst Funeral Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Park Grove Cemetery

Paul Parker was preceded in death by his first wife, Chris Parker in 1991 and later married Jean Hogan of Oklahoma City. Jean passed away in 2010 and Paul remained in their home in Broken Arrow. Paul is survived by son Raymond Parker of Frederick, Maryland, daughter Kellie Parker Lunsford of Sonoma, California and Grandsons Raymond (Ram) Parker, Redmond (RC) Parker and Parker Lunsford as well as Granddaughter Cassidy Lunsford.

Paul was the Owner/Operator of Parker Bros. Inc. in Tulsa and Superior School Supplies in Parson, KS. While operating these companies, Paul also owned and operated a small Cattle ranch in Bixby where the family lived until 1975.

Paul was very active in the AKDAR Shrine over the years including the Red Fez Palomino Riding club, the Scooter unit and lastly the Shrine Bowlers. Paul bowled most of his life and carried a 187 average for years..


Never missed a wrestling match
Never missed a football game.
Never missed a piano recital.

Always there to help anyone, if that was mowing the church lawn, helping a neighbor put up hay or building a barn.

A very handy man who could fix or seemingly build anything.
