David Bacon, age 71 of Valentine, passed away at Cherry County Hospital on Monday, March 15, 2010.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 22, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Valentine with Pastor Tom Lucas officiating. Interment of cremains with full miltary honors by the Cherry County Veterans will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
David is survived by 5 children: Leslie, Suzann, Orana, Julie and Jason; 4 siblings: Leona Smith of Mitchell, NE, Larry Bacon of Montana, Ken Bacon of Gering, NE and Katherine Matilainen of Scottsbluff; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his parents Ivan & Lillie Bacon, brother Raymond and sister Shirley Overman.
