A retired registered nurse and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Landmark Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. She was 84 and a native of Cottonport.
Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., at 2 p.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Mike Moroney. Survived by two sons, Ernest and Eddie Hanchey, both of Dallas; two brothers, Carol Aymond, Sr. of Cottonport and Burton Aymond, Sr. of New Orleans; five grandchildren, Christopher Hanchey, Lee Anderson, John Hanchey, Dana Caddell and Cady Sunsdahl; and three great-grandchildren, Nick Deishler, Madison Sunsdahl and Arlee Caddell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
