Services for Herman Aymond were held Oct 15 at St Mary's Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. William Provosty officiating.
Herman Aymond, age 73, of Cottonport, died at 12:10 p.m. Sunday at Bunkie General Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired truck driver.
Suvivors include his wife, Pauline P. Aymond of Cottonport; one son, William Aymond of Simmesport; one daughter, Vickie Aldridge of Lake Worth, Fla.; two brothers, Carol Aymond, Sr of Cottonport and Burton Aymond of Metairie; one sister Odell A. Hanchey of Baton Rouge and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Kirk Aymond, Burton Aymond Jr., Ron Aldridge, Brandon Brochard, Kenneth Brassette, Carol Aymond Jr. and Chris Armand.
HUSBAND OF: LILLIAN "POLLY" AYMOND
Herman adopted his wife's son, Billy. They later adopted their daughter, Vickie.
