Lester Flynn Dies Thursday Funeral Monday

Lester B. Flynn, 844 North Anderson Street, died at 10:45 o'clock Thursday night at the McGuire Nursing Home. He had been ill one year. Born May 22, 1894 in Frankfort, Ky., he was the son of John and Sally Flynn. He was married to Gladys Glore, March 18, 1922. Eleven children were born, seven of whom are living. He was a former tin mill employee and was the last employed at the Holan Engineering Company. He was a member of the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Garner of Anderson; six sons, Billy of Dayton, O., Robert, of the U.S. Air Force, Del Rio, Texas, Donald, David, Charles and James, all at home; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Goins and Mrs. Margaret Warner; a brother, Walter and a half brother, Edward King, all of Frankfort, Ky. The body was taken to the Robert L. Jackley funeral home where friends may call. Funeral rites will be Monday at 2 o'clock at the funeral home with Rev. R. W. Sage, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be made in Elwood city cemetery.
