Rosa C. Stretch, 81, of 803 W. Garfield, Bartonville, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 1996, at Galena Park Home in Peoria Heights.
Born Nov. 15, 1914, in Bartonville to Herman and Flora Winters Frerichs, she married Warren R. Stretch on Apr. 24, 1937, in Peoria. He died Jun. 20, 1978, in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by one sister.
Surviving are one son, Robert W. of Peoria; one brother, Walter Frerichs of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and its Esther Circle.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at her church. The Revs. Paul Park and Imo Hinrichs will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel, and 30 minutes before services at the church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to her church or the Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children.
