FALL FROM HORSE FATAL FOR YOUTH
Sherrill Francois, age 18, of Evergreen died at 11:50pm in a Shreveport Hospital from injuries he sustained when he was thrown from his horse near his home in Evergreen.
The accident occurred at 2:30pm Sunday. Francois's skull was fractured when his head hit a telephone pole. He was a route man for Service Cleaners and Laundry of Bunkie.
Funeral services were held at 11:00am Tuesday at Church of the Little Flower in Evergreen with Rev. H. Lajoie officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Escude Funeral home of Cottonport. Survivors include his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Clave Francois, Sr of Bunkie; brother: Clave Francois Jr. of Evergreen.
