AILLET SR., ALLEN JOSEPH
A retired carpenter at Cinclare Sugar Factory with more than 40 years of service, he died at 12:06 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 1996, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 85, a native and resident of Brusly. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and saw action in the Battle of the Bulge. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bobby J. Lee Jr., Brusly; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen Jr. and Julie Martin Aillet, Brusly; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Catherine Druilhet Aillet; parents, Noelie Allain and Dedier Aillet; two sisters, Hazel Dedeaux and Gertrude Penn; and two brothers, Roy Aillet and Olney Aillet.
