Major League Baseball Player. Born in Muncie, Indiana, he was a right handed pitcher. He made his major league debut against the Cincinnati Reds on April 16, 1917. He ended his career with a win for the Cincinnati Reds in the 1919 World Series Championship and a record of 60 wins, 40 loss, 52 complete games, 9 shutouts, 5 saves, 381 strikeouts and 2.62 earned run average. He died at age 67 Indianapolis, Indiana.
