COMMERCE – Funeral service for Hannah C. Abbott, 83, of Commerce will be at 2 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church of Commerce with the Rev. J.Carter Paul officiating. Burial will be at Brigham Cemetery at Campbell under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Commerce.
Mrs. Abbott died Wednesday at a Greenville hospital.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1899 at Paynesville, Minn., the daughter of William and Louise Arndt Frank. She was married in Paynesville in 1920 to Dana A. Abbott.
Mrs. Abbott was a retired ladies wear buyer for Babbott Brothers, Inc. in Minnesota, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Commerce.
Survivors include her son, William Abbott of Greenville; sister, Wilma Pretznick of Paynesville, Minn.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Neill Humfeld, Dr. John Harris, Dr. Frank Barchard, Dr. Ralph Goodwin, Dr. Keith McFarland and Dr. Bertran Davis.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
