William Donald Wilson
Age, 88 of Portage, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 1992, he was a Portage resident for 32 years, formerly of Lake Station for 38 years. He was retired from Inland Steel in 1968 as an assistant roller with 45 years of service. A member of United Steel Workers' Local #1010, and a s a hobby he was a part time farmer. Survivors: wife, Margaret of Portage, 3 sons, William (Vivian) Wilson of DeMotte, Robert (Lora) Wilson of Hobart, John Wilson of Los Angeles, California; 2 daughters, Catherine Sohovich of Lake Station, Betty (Edward) Funke of Portage; 33 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his children, J. Donald Wilson, James (Susan) Wilson, Dorothy Needham & Howard Wilson. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 1992 at 11 am at the Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue. Pastor David Meyers officiating. Burial Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm at the Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel. 762-3013
