He was born on July 9, 1922 in Brazil, Indiana to William Andrew, Sr. and Bernice Andrew.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Catherine, his parents and a sister, Anna Lee Andrew. He is survived by his two sons, Steven (Mary) Andrew of Boca Raton, Florida and Michael J. (Judy) Andrew of Jefferson, Maryland, 5 grandchildren, Christine (Robert) Minasian of Boca Raton, Florida, Shana (John) Ellis, of Newnan, Georgia, Brent (Jillian) Andrew of Newnan, Georgia, Karen (Gabe) Michaelson, of Boca Raton, Florida and Jennifer Andrew of Jefferson, Maryland; 7 great-grandchildren, Christopher Minasian, Kariann Minasian, Noah Michaelson, John Ellis V, Kailey Michaelson, Kaden Minasian and Mia Andrew; and his cousins Jackie, Cynthia and Linda McMorris of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Mr. Andrew served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of World War II.
He had a career in Civil Service following his military service.
He was a devoted husband and father who got pleasure from helping people.
After his retirement, he served as a volunteer for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #10556 in Boca Raton, Florida where one of his many contributions was to serve as Chaplain.
