Funeral services for Bobbie Jean Bardwell Anthony, 72, of Corinth, formerly of Memphis and Coffeeville, are at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at McPeters Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial and graveside services are at 4 p.m. Saturday at Clear Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville with the Rev. John Gray officiating.
Ms. Anthony died April 14, 2010, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corinth and the Prime Timers. She was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of American Revolution, Sassy Scarlet Red Hat Society and retired in 1984 from Bell South as a local test board technician. Ms. Anthony was a member of the Pioneers Club of Bell South Telephone Company. She was a l955 graduate of Southside High School in Memphis.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia B. (Bill) Elliott of Reform, Ala., Annie Laurie B. McCammon of Senatobia, and Allana B. (Steve) McElwain of Corinth; six grandchildren, Bill and Stephen Elliott of Grenada, Alex and Peyton McCammon of Horn Lake, and Austin and Shelby McElwain of Corinth.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Children's Village, 150 Farrow Manor Dr., Coldwater, MS 38618.
