Iris at rest the age of 90. Adored and devoted wife of 70 years to Frank Allegrini. Dearly loved mother of Adrienne Allegrini-Candlin and Lynda DeMaestri and their husbands Lee Candlin and Gary DeMaestri (deceased). Beloved grandmother of Nicole, Gregory, Damon (deceased), and Rebecca (Dennis) and great-grandmother to Briana, Gianni, and Niko. Survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear sister-in-law, Julie O'Brien. Retired from SF Unified School District, "Mrs. Allegrini" was a much beloved confidante, counselor, and friend to many at Balboa High School throughout the 50's and 60's. Iris will be remembered for her sweet, thoughtful, kind, and vivacious personality. She will be greatly missed.
