Obituary - Mrs. Arline P. Moffat, a resident of Blue Point for the past 17 years, passed away in the Holbrook Hospital early on Saturday following a long illness. She was 78 years old, and was the widow of the late William Moffat.

Funeral services were held on Monday at Ruland's Funeral Chapel in Patchogue, the Rev. A.H. Cooke, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating, and interment was in the Cedar Grove cemetery. Mrs. Moffat was a member of Dorothea Rebekah Lodge, and of Old Glory Chapter O.E.S.
