Stayton, Oregon, Hazel Frances Adams passed away with her family by her side on June 27, 2004. She was 94 years old. She was born on Feb. 10, 1910, to Harley and Dulcie (Perry) Simmons in Beverly, Wash.

She grew up in Quincy attending schools and graduating from Quincy High School. She attended and graduated from Washington Normal School at Cheney in 1930. She has lived in California, Oregon, and Washington returning to George, Wash. for several years after her husband passed away, working in the store and post office. She moved to Oregon to be close to her children and grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Linda Sievers; sons, Gary Knapp, Robert Adams, and William Adams.

She had eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters. She is also preceded by first husband, Lawrence C. Knapp and second husband, George G. Adams.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sat. July 31, 2004, at Quincy Lutheran Church, Quincy, Wash.
