Homer L. "Les" Baker, 67, of Cedar Hill.

He was born on August 6, 1937 in Austin, Texas and passed, away August 17, 2004.

He was in Computer Sales.

Served at the rank of Captain in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He graduated from Texas A & M with his Masters Degree.

Survived by his wife of 47 years, Norma Baker, sons: Bryan & wife, Suzanne Baker, China Springs, Steven Baker, Cedar Hill, Grandchildren: Zac, Abby & Anna, Brother: Joel Baker, Midlothian, Sister: Arlene Tomchesson, Waco, Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Jim & Peggy Skinner, West.

Services will be held Monday, August 23, 2004 at 1:00 PM, HAMPTON ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH, 400 N. Hampton Rd., Desoto, with Dr. Jerry R. Raines, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2100 Mountain Creek Parkway. "Lane A" at 3:00 PM.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family request Memorials be made to the E S A Cancer Awareness Chapter, P. O. Box 382313, Duncanville, TX 75138-2313. West / Hurtt Funeral Home 217 S. Hampton Road DeSoto (972) 223-6314.
