Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Thursday in Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Topeka for Keith W. Spring, 35. He died Sunday, Nov. 27, 1988, at his home in Topeka.
Mr. Spring worked at Touch of Class Hair Styling Shop in Topeka the past 10 years.
He was born July 19, 1953, in Sabetha, the son of Robert K. and Ellen Meyer Spring. He was graduated from Holton High School in 1971. He attended a barber college in Topeka and was graduated from a hair stylist school in Kansas City.
Mr. Spring was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sabetha.
Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca Spring, Lindsay Spring and Ashley Proper-Russell, all of Topeka; two sons, Gabriel Spring and Caleb Spring, both of Topeka; his step-father and mother, Byrl and Ellen Rostetter, Holton; his father, Robert K. Spring, Sabetha; four sisters, Roberta Brook and Kathleen Hall, both of Topeka, Annette Robinson, Holton, and Layna Conley, Garnett; and two brothers, Edward Rostetter, Circleville, and Randal Rostetter, Wichita Falls, TX.
Cremation was planned. Inurnment was in Sabetha Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Heart Association, 5375 W. 7th, 66606. Shawnee County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 2913 Plass Court, 66611, or to the Spring Children's Education Fund and sent in care of the funeral home. --The Sabetha Herald, Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1988
