Joseph Emery Jenkins, age 81, of Crossett, AR passed away on July 10, 2012 at Ashley County Medical Center. He was born on April 29, 1931 in Ashley County, AR to his parents, Joe Cleveland and Eva Lena Mills Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins served in the Army and retired from Georgia Pacific Plywood. He loved hunting, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Julia Ann Jenkins and a daughter-in-law, Carol Jenkins.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Joe Jenkins (Linda), Raymond Jenkins; two daughters, Luanne Townley (Randy), Carma Jenkins, all of Crossett, AR; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at Magnolia Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Girffith officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Magnolia Baptist Church.
