In the 1920 census, Bonnie still resided in the home of her parents; also in the home was her siblings; Annie B (19), Homer (14), and Albert A (12). Her paternal grandmother was also still living with the family.
On October 25, 1923, Bonnie Velma married George Washington Lucas in Davidson County, Tennessee.
Bonnie Velma passed away on May 24, 1974 and was buried in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, Virginia.
