NANCY MARGARET WILKINS

A memorial service for Nancy Margaret Wilkins of Hillsboro will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the recreation hall at the River Road Estates in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Wilkins was 94. She died of causes related to age Monday in a Hillsboro care center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1898, in Pittsburg, Ill., and was reared and schooled in Illinois. Her maiden name was Otey. She married Ruel O. Wilkins in 1917, and the couple moved to the Portland area in 1924.

Mrs. Wilkins was a homemaker. She and her husband later moved to Yachats, where they owned and operated a number of greenhouses for about 20 years until they retired and moved to Woodburn. She had lived in Hillsboro since the death of her husband in 1979.

Survivors include her daughters, Mabel Ryder of Hillsboro and Cleo O'Dell of Ontario; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to Washington County Hospice.
