George James Berry, 70, of Lenoir, died Sunday, November 03, 2002, at Brian Center of Hickory.
He was born in Watauga County to the late Henry Berry and Lurrenie Harmon Berry. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Jean Berry; a grandson; three brothers, and one sister.
He was retired from Thomasville Furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Matheson Berry of Lenoir; one son, Ricky Junior Berry of Lenoir; one daughter, Patricia Ann Cole of Lenoir; one bother, Ralph Berry of Lenoir; two sisters, Lillie Mae Woods of Lenoir and Helen Hicks of Virginia, and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
