Laneda Elaine Edwards Enright, 55, of Westminster, Md., formerly of Urbana, and originally from the DeGraff and Quincy area left this world to enter a much better one to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 3, 2012, after a seven-year battle with cancer.

Laneda was born March 22, 1957, a daughter of the late Lee Roy Edwards, the late Hazel Edna Tucker Edwards Hurley, and the stepdaughter of the late Luther Hurley.

She loved Christ, never forgot what he did for her, and was quick to tell everyone about his grace even in the face of a painful death.

She leaves behind her husband, Jim Enright of Westminster, and daughters, Liza (Ben) Ellis Mead of Raleigh, N.C., Milena Enright of Westminster and Monica Enright of Urbana; as well as brothers Larry (Rita) Edwards of West Liberty, Keith (Robin) Edwards of Saegertown, Pa., and Dan (Cindy) Edwards of Dayton; a stepsister, Arlene (Terry) Titus of Bellefontaine, and a stepbrother, Tom (Kay) Hurley of Carol Stream, Ill. Laneda was a perfect aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Walter & Smith Funeral Home, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, where Pastor David Dernlan conducts a funeral at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Burial is in the Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
