Mary Jo Walker was born August 24, 1954 in Shawnee, OK, to Del Edwin and Mary Eleanor Chancellor, and went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2012.
Mary Jo married Eddie Walker and was blessed with a son, Eddie Shane Walker. Siblings include brother Monte Del Chancellor and wife Sheila of McLoud; and sister Lori Jean Cranford of McLoud. Two grandchildren, eight nieces, and four nephews. Mary Jo is preceded in death by her father, Del.
Mary Jo graduated from Dale High School, and became a licensed X-ray technician for the Bone and Joint Hospital. Some of Mary Jo's most memorable moments were spent behind Eddie, motorcycling through the mountains. She always enjoyed sewing, gardening, scrapbooking, reading, bird watching, caring for her dogs Dollie & Trixie, and relaxing while crunching on Sonic ice. She loved OU sports and Thunder basketball. Mary Jo attended Fairview Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir and the Ministries of Jesus. With a full life, her proudest moment was becoming a grandmother, and she loved spending time with her grandsons Colton & Carson.
Mary Jo will be loved and missed by all.
