Joceyle M. "Jo" Baker, 48, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, a former Sioux City, Iowa, resident, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., after a long illness of cancer.
.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 9, 1995, at Tucker Funeral Home in Goodyear, Arizona, with Rev. Steve McKown of First South Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, [Maricopa County], Arizona.

Mrs. Baker, the former Joceyle Marlene Small, was born Feb. 19, 1946, at Akron, Iowa. She graduated from Akron High School in 1964 and attended Ellis Beauty College in Sioux City. She married Allan Ray Baker February 20, 1965, in Charleston, South Carolina. While residing in Sioux City, she was employed by Sun Valley and Hidden Acres Golf Courses. She was a former employee of Sierra Estrella Golf Course in Goodyear, Ariz.

Mrs. Baker was a member of First Baptist Church of Akron.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Stacey and her husband, Ken Reilly and Ashley Baker, all of Litchfield Park; a grandson, Austin, of Litchfield Park; her parents, Kenneth and Evelyn Small of Akron; a sister, Valerie and her husband, Mike Malenosky, of Sioux City; a brother Barry Small of Akron; five nephews; two nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and a brother, Doyle Small.
