Murat is the son of Harvey A. Boyle & Alice Myers Boyle. His brother is R. Virgil Boyle. Murat married Claudine Hancock in 1910.
Murat was a well known Kansas City attorney, a partner in the law firm of Hogsett & Boyle (joined in 1908), specializing in insurance law. He attended the Kansas City School of Law. He was elected President of the Missouri Bar Association in 1929. He is known for initiating The Journal of the Missouri Bar Association. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He died along with the pilot and 3 other passengers in a plane crash returning from a fishing trip in Texas at the Gulf of Mexico.
