~ In Loving Memory ~ of my Aunt Louisa.

Aunt Louisa left three children and grandchildren from each of her children. Born in the marriage with Thomas Meriam were one infant son who died shortly after birth in 1952 (stone on his gravesite is wrong...says 1955) and two daughters, Barbara Ann (b. 1953) and Debra Sue (b. 1954). They were later adopted by Aunt Louisa's second husband, George Freeberg. In recent years I learned of another daughter born to Aunt Louisa in 1949 who had to be given up for adoption; Aunt Louisa and her first born daughter,Catherine, were fortunate enough to be able to make contact with one another before Aunt Louisa's 1989 death. This daughter--Cathy--was born before Aunt Louisa married her first husband. All of Aunt Louisa's daughters are beautiful. I am blessed to have been able to be in contact with Cathy.
