Loren (Lok) W. Van Dyke, age 73 of 670 Rolling Green Dr., Las Vegas, Nev. passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz. on August 21, 1975, following a chronic illness of the past few years.
He was born July 28, 1902, the son of Dorsey and Jennie Ware Van Dyke, former Greenup, Ill. residents. Lok spent his boyhood days in Greenup until the family transferred to Danville, Illinois. He was a member of the Scottsdale, Arizona Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife Hazel; sons Dick of California and Jerry of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Earl, of Marion, Ind.; 7 grandchildren; one aunt, Mrs. Golda (Van Dyke) Crutcher of Los Angeles, Calif. Walter S. Van Dyke of Casey, Ill. and George Dewey Van Dyke of Richmond, Ind., both recently deceased, were uncles.
Private memorial services for Mr. Van Dyke were held at the Berkhalter Funeral Home in Danville on August 23rd, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
