He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Bertie Lou (Patrick) McComas; three children, Delinda McComas still at home, Arzil "Buzzy" McComas of East Lynn, and Debra Salmons and husband Robert of West Hamlin, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Jessica Eplin, Alex "Little Man" McComas, Bethany McComas, and Amanda Salmons; and one great grandchild, Annabelle Eplin.
Also surviving are two brothers, Arden McComas and Arton McComas; and three sisters, Mary Ann McComas, Linda McComas, and Sandra Salmons.
Funeral services conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Eddie McComas and Jason McComas officiating. Burial followed in the Jones Cemetery.
