Betty M. Owens Homan, 97 of Milesburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Eagle Valley Nursing Home. She was born on July 10, 1919 in Axemann, Pa. the daughter of the late Jerry & Jennie Lucretia Stover Owens.

She was united in marriage to David Franklin Homan Sr. on November 7, 1936 he preceded her in death on January 6, 2001.

Betty was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Trinity Reform Church in Hublersburg. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing her harmonica.

Betty is survived by one son; David F. (Georgia) Homan Jr. of Zion, two daughters; Lucretia M. Swatsworth of Bellefonte and Nancy K. (John) Rider of Bellefonte and two sisters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Beverly F. Harmon, five brothers and five sisters, a son-in-law Marvin Swatsworth, a grandson Terry Swatsworth, and a great grandson Randy Swatsworth.

Services will be on Saturday, May 8, 2021.Services times are pending and will be announced when completed.
