Harold "Bill" William Rodgers, Jr., age 64, passed away in Conroe on June 13, 2012. He was born on March 11, 1948 in Houston, TX. Bill was raised in the Houston area growing up at 11619 Carla Street in far North Houston attending Barrick Elementary, the just-opened Fonville Junior High and graduating with the June Class of 1966 of Sam Houston High School... he proudly served the community as a Houston Police Officer for many years. After leaving the force and moving to Conroe, Bill worked for Conroe Auto Detail and the Montgomery County Custodial Department. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and was happy as long as he was doing one or the other.
Bill is survived by his son, Billy Rodgers; daughter, Lori Stafford; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Layne, and Logan Rodgers, and Ashlynn Stafford; and sister, Lunette Boyce. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Edna Rodgers.
A private service will be held at the family's request. Bill will be laid to rest in Dew, Texas near his parents.
