RENSCH -- H. Ronald Rensch, 70, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Chambersburg, PA, died on Thursday, August 2, 2007 after many years of chronic illness. Born May 20, 1937 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Ruth and Luman Rensch, Sr. He attended Buchanan grammar school and was a graduate of Chambersburg High School in 1955; a veteran of United States Air Force and a lifetime member of the NRA and other gun clubs. Ron studied voice with noted performer and teacher, Yves Tinayre in New York City. He also performed in community theater and had a bit part in a Lone Ranger movie. Ron was a devoted lover and collector of classical music. Ron spent 18 months in Vietnam working for CBS Laboratories. He retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory after 15 years working as a laser technician and electronics expert, He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Antonic Rensch, whom he wed on September 3, 1965; a son, Bradford, a Cpl. Corrections Officer employed at Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and his wife, Velma and son, Alex; a sister, Anita Stark, of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Luman Rensch, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Fayetteville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Military Services were conducted graveside at Vista Verde Memorial Park and National Military Cemetery.
