John H. Hart, farmer residing south of Waverly, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, Springfield. He was born Dec. 2, 1886 in Kansas and came to Illinois when he was 7 years old. He was the son of the late Francis and Suzanne Shroyer Hart. His wife, Grace, died Nov. 11, 1951.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annabell Pearson, Springfield, and Miss Hazel Hart, at home; a son, Harold E. Hart, Decatur; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Blanch Mansfield, Modesto, and Mrs. Bessie Berryman, Palmyra.
The body was removed to the Neece Funeral Home, Waverly, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery.
