WHEELER Julian L. Aasen. 71, died today at Myrtle Werth Medical Center, Menomonie. He was born in the town of Wilson, Dunn County, and married Charlotte Thomas Jan. 20, 1942, in Hammond. She died in 1985. He married Fern Thomas Oct. 5. 1985, in Ridgeland. He farned all his life on the family farm in the town if Wilson.

He was a member of Plainview and Colfax School Boards. Survivors include his wife, Fem; two daughters. Donna Higbie of Colfax, Karen Vobomik of eau Claire; four sons, Galen of New Richmond, Terry of Ridgeland, Dennis of Eau Claire, Curtis of Minneapolis; a stepdaughter. Patsy Posey of Milwaukee; two stepsons, Robert Thomas, Richard Thomas, both of Colfax; a sister, Bernice Stevens of Wheeler, 14 grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hay River Lutheran Church, rural Wheeler, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Olson Funeral Home, Menomonie, and an hour before services at the church.
