A native of Texas, Mrs. Liles was born on August 7, 1884 and was the daughter of J. B. Gardner and Mary Lou Robbs Gardner. At an early age she professed Christianity and had since been a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Reed of Post, Texas and Mrs. Avis James of Pasadena, Texas; a son, C. E. Liles of Justiceburg, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Morgan of Wolfe City; a brother, Jesse Gardner of Plainview, and three grandchildren.
