Served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two. Was a Dallas, Texas police officer for 31 years as a motorcycle officer, detective and sergeant.

Obituary:

Born December 12, 1925 in Dallas, Texas and passed away July 27, 2004, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 78. Mr. Bramhall proudly served his country in The United States Navy. He attached to the USMC and saw action at GuadalCanal and Iwo Jima during WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1946. He joined the Dallas Police Department in 1949, and served 31 years as motorcycle patrol, detective, and sergeant. Mr. Bramhall is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Frances Bramhall, daughter, Kathy Porter, daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Greg Lang, grandchildren, Joshua Porter, Joel Dooley, Caden Lang, and Conner Lang, sister-in-law and husband, Sharon and Richard Hale, niece, Tammy Gilcrease and husband Sonny, great nieces, Macy Gilcrease and Presley Gilcrease, sisters, Imogene Bramhall, Frankie Bramhall, Garney Bramhall, and brother and sister-in-law, Arney and Lavoyce Bramhall. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2004, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 2004, at 10:00a.m. at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Chiles officiating. Graveside service with honors will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, Lane B. �I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER�
