Funeral Services for Eunice J. Larson, age 73, of 742 Forest Hills Drive SW, Rochester, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 23, at the First Baptist Church, Rochester. The Rev. Bill Pencille will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the Macken Funeral Home, Rochester, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
A grave side service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Clarks Grove Baptist Cemetery, Clarks Grove.
She died on Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Eunice Jeanette Hanson was born on April 21, 1924, in Albert Lea. She married Ralph D. Larson on June 17, 1947, in Clarks Grove. Eunice lived in Clarks Grove until 1956, then moved to Owatonna until 1960. Since 1960 she had lived in Rochester where she worked as a librarian at IBM until retirement. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing piano, and listening to gospel music. She was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1960.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Larson of Rochester; children, Barbara (Mrs Terry) Maack of Glendale, AR., Ken Larson of Minneapolis, Diane Larson of Lauderdale, Minn. Roger Larson of St Paul, Colleen (Mrs Mark) Johnson of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Reid Larson of Wadhams, N.Y., and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
